Look for a new "Children's Ministry Prayer Challenge" weekly Reflections!

The Confirmation Class is the right place to talk about living together in a community that God loves. And yet, even though people say, or I should say we say that we are children of God, we live with our sin of racism. We live judging one another in the differences of our culture, the color of our skin and the way we speak. How many times have I encountered that I was singled out because of my accent due to the fact that English is not my first language.
Our lesson is very appropriate in our situation that we are facing or living around COVID-19 pandemic and the social unrest crying out for racial justice because of the extrajudicial killings done to some members of our African American communities like George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. Racism has been happening for a very long time towards People of Color, black, brown, African Americans, Hispanic Latino, Asian Americans, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders.
May this lesson in our 40 SECOND CONFIRMATION: LIVING TOGETHER with the use and adaptation of the resource CONFIRM (Abingdon Press) help you and your confirmands confront the realities that happening in our communities and we could help our young people to learn and stand up against any form of violations for us to live together in our communities.
40 SECOND CONFIRMATION: LIVING TOGETHER will take longer than 40 seconds because of the video.
